Free Veteran’s Day Events in and around Pittsburgh PA

 

This year there are many free Veteran’s Day events in and around Pittsburgh, PA to choose from – including free food at area restaurants, free admission to area attractions and discounts within stores.

 

We’ve put a list together of some great offerings to take advantage of, for anyone that has been active in the military.  If you take advantage of any of these, please let us know about it in the comments below!

 

Applebee’s

7 free entrees to choose from for all veterans and active military.  Show proof of military service and take your pick!  Beverage and gratuity are not included.

 

Golden Corral’s

This will mark the 10th annual Military Appreciation Monday dinner, on November 15th starting at 5 p.m.  The all you can eat buffet dinner (which includes your beverage and desert), will be free to any person who has served in the U.S. Military.

 

McCormick & Schmick’s

On Sunday, November 7th, 2010, McCormick & Schmick’s will be offering free entrees to Veterans.  There will be ten different entrees to choose from, but we’d suggest making a reservation first!  Bring your Military ID too.

 

UNO Chicago Grill

We don’t know the details of this offering yet, but we know it will be worthwhile!  Give them a call to find out more details!

 

Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium

Bring your Military ID for verification and get in free on Veteran’s Day!  Bring your family for a fun day out together.
